Here are the last of the tobacco sign barns in my collection.
There are several beauties right here in my small town,
which I must get on film some day.
You get to see both sides as we came up on this duo
from the west.
We first parked across the high way on the west side,
then we drove a bit further and I shot some pics from the east.
The colors did not come out nearly as well when photographing from the eastern end.
But you still get the essence of the setting.

ReplyDeleteI've never seen that done before, where they paint on different sections! Cool! Love the dark wood! Nice
ReplyDeleteI agree w/ your comment on my Barn Charm about the haunting atmosphere of the bare trees... kind of a mysterious feel about the 2nd shot
It snowed about 3 inches yesterday & last night, but it's just about gone, today & 41 degrees! That's Southeast Missouri for ya
Thanks for joining, Beth! =)
Very nice photos.
ReplyDeleteRegards and best wishes
That advertising looks like it could have been done recently...it is in very good shape.
ReplyDeleteEither these people loved this brand of tobacco or else they got paid a good bit of money for all of the advertising. It is a great barn...and the advertising adds so much charm to it. genie
ReplyDeleteFrom one Ohioan to another nice shot. I've only seen them with the Tobacco logo on them wondering if they added the best on later. :)
ReplyDeleteLoving this Mail Pouch barn.
ReplyDeleteThese are quite charming, but I am SO taken with your header! Wow.
