Do not be afraid of sudden terror,
nor of trouble from the wicked when it comes;
for the LORD will be your confidence,
and will keep your foot from being caught.
Proverbs 3:25-26
Lord, help me to begin to confront the fears
I've been running away from.
I want to silence the roars that keep me from moving ahead
with my life.
Amen

thank you for this, today.
ReplyDelete"What time I am afraid, I will trust in Thee" is a favorite verse of mine.
ReplyDeleteYour kind words on my blog made my day yesterday! Hope His presence and peace fill your days this week!
I'm praying all is well Beth. We all know those times of fear. It is so good to rest in His promises.
ReplyDeleteThe LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:14
ReplyDeletePrayers, Beth.
I'll use a different version than Susie did. Same vs was very important to me back in 1969. The Lord dropped it in in the midst of a possible fight. "The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace." MAN, I've trusted that so often. Back then, it made me shut my mouth and trust my Father. Probably should have had my lips glued or sewn shut, but made it after all. Bless you, dear one.
ReplyDeleteFear is knitted closely with our Ego, and as the Ego is but a child compared with the Higher Self, it will throw tantrums from time to time.
ReplyDeleteThat'll pass, and the next wave will be a lighter, more playful one.
