Peeking out

Just as George is peeking around the corner,
I am checking out what's out there for me:
changes in curriculum;
looking at house plans;
knowing I need to progress with my other blog--
---the one on chronic illness;
figuring out what to do with this blog;
contemplating Face book so I can see pics of my Ohio grandkids;
To Kill a Mockingbird or Lord of the Flies for advanced freshmen English;
writing some letters--what to say.

So much to decide.
I made the decision for George:
he is not an outdoor cat, so I called him back inside.

But I also have someone looking out for me--
--actually three: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Blessings.
(I'm enjoying our day off from school.)

  1. Such good thought Beth. I am struggling to know what is the best use of time on-line. I have consistently spent far too much time - as wonderful as this blogging world is. I am prayerfully working on it.

  3. His feet are looking a little cold.

    May the Lord guide you in all of these decisions.

  4. Hi Beth, Sounds like you have some decisions to make... Take them one at a time --and that way, you won't get frazzled...

    Poor George.. Bet his little footsies were cold out there in the snow... Bet he was willing to go back inside quickly!!!!

    I love Facebook --and had resisted it for a long long time.. I got on it to keep up with my kids/grands... Found out how much fun it is... It's easier than blogging and you can set it up so that ONLY your 'friends' can see your page.... I recommend it.

    Hugs,
    Betsy

  5. I liked your analogy... and the way you wrote and illustrated it. George looks pretty in the snow :)

  6. George is so sweet, Beth! Our kitty Charlie is a half indoor/half outdoor kind of guy... but in winter he's an indoor cat. ;o) This sounds like a year of change for you. And not least how to make the most of online time. That's where I am at the moment in a way too--how to be online a little less maybe, but still make it quality time to do all I want and need to do... not easy... LOL... Enjoy your day off! ((HUGS))

  7. Great post, Beth! Sometimes life and all its decisions seem overwhelming - unless we remember Who is in charge! Hope this year brings you many blessings!!

  9. Good photo; neat cat.

    Re: reading. "...Mockingbird" is one of the best... and the movie so accurately written. Watch it occasionally and have read the book several times.

    On the other hand... AAKK!! "...Flies." Couldn't imagine reading one much worse. [There ARE some, but that one is a real head banger.] Hope you are able to make it life-changer in some fashion.
