Monday's prayer to start the week

In the countryside of the Conemara region of Ireland

"For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They
are plans for good and not for evil,
to give you a future and a hope."
Jeremiah 29:11

Dear Lord,
Thank You that You have a plan even though I can't see it.  I bow myself to Your plan for me.  I ask You to cause everything------every circumstance in my life
and every enemy to Your purposes ---------to work with Your plan for me.
Amen.

From Prayers in the Storm by Sandy Lynam Clough

I will comment on the weekend at another time.  Just thought I'd put a prayer out there for myself and anyone else who might need it.

  3. One of my favorite verses, and a lovely, apt, prayer. I'm going to write it down in my personal journal today.

And thanks for your recent comment on my blog. (It did show up, I don't know what Blogger's problem is. A lot of people, myself included, are having problems with comments being lost.)

It means so very much (and I know you understand this) to read that the Lord prompted you to pray for me when I was in great need and you had no other way of knowing that need except by His Spirit.

I'm not fully recovered from this recent attack, but at least I'm not in the "red alert for surgery" stage. I'm going to acupuncture today and praying that it will help. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn't. But one thing is certain, your prayers were needed, heard, and answered.
    THANK YOU.

  4. Good! One thing I always remember with that verse is that it was to the Hebrews who were either headed for or already in captivity. I always need to remember when things are unexceptionally rough that, whether coming, going, or being, I am still cupped in His hands/tattooed on His palms [Is. 49:16--Amp.]

Sweetness and Light be on your path today, Friend.
