Friday's Psalm

My son's boat coming towards our pontoon boat.  The sky is giving a show.  Mom loved the sunset at the lake, and  the weather, lake, and sky collaborated to create a beautiful setting for the spreading of the ashes ceremony.

This Friday I'm doing excerpts from Psalms.  Mother went through her Bible and underlined
uplifting lines, so I will share a few with you today as we finish up the week and head
 into the weekend.

When I consider thy heavens, . . .What is man, that thou art mindful of him? . . .
Psalm 8: one line of vs 3 and 2 lines of vs 4.

LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle?  . . . He that walketh uprightly,
and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. . . I have set the LORD
always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
                          Psalm 15: part of 1, then 2 & 8

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure,
   making wise the simple.
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight,
O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
                Psalm 19: 1, 7, 14

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.  Psalm 23: 1

The earth is the LORD's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart . . .
Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
. . .The LORD of host, he is the King of glory.  Se-lah.
               Psalm 24: 1, 4, 9, 10

The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear ?  the LORD is the strength of
my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say,
 on the LORD.
           Psalm 27: 1, 14

Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.
            Psalm 31: 24
I'll stop here.  The verses were taken from mother's Bible, which is an  Authorized King James Version.

Blessings to you all as you begin your weekend.
