Here it is--the 2010 Barnesville Pumpkin Festival's King Pumpkin!
The seeds are auctioned off. I've never witnessed this part of the festival; maybe next year. My husband says the owner usually tries to buy at least some of them back.
This man has won now two years in a row---quite proud is he!
My husband insisted. I felt sort of foolish, but humored him. I'm trying not to smile--teasing him, I guess---but it was difficult, because I was happy to be there with him. I do enjoy this time with friends, neighbors, and visitors.
Oh my goodness . . . what a pumpkin!! Unbelievable!! Great pic of you!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad he insisted and that you complied ... what a neat photo.
