Do you see him?

Do you see him?

He's oblivious to us.

Absorbed so, in the crisp greens of his world.

Hello! He just realized he has an audience.

When they're not jumping out on the road, banging up two cars in one week (last November),
deer are cute.  However, we did notice the electric fences around some gardens, so eating human
food obviously makes them less cute to some.

I'm feeling better today--more human--less cranky feline.

These are more photos from our Hocking Hills trip.  This little guy was our neighbor.

I'd love to walk in those cool green woods today instead of stand in my sultry (try stuffy) room
with the air conditioner huffing and puffing
and still not cooling the room.
Of course 32 bodies crammed into a room designed for 25
tends to increase the heat.

Blessings on your day.

  1. Good Morning Bee.... I couldn't see the deer 'til I got to the 3rd picture.... We have them here and love seeing them.. BUT--they'd better stay away from our flowers (roses) !!!! We don't have an electric fence but we do spray Liquid Fence which seem to work!!!!

    Have a great day.
    Hugs,
    Betsy

  2. And blessings on yours. I'm glad you're feeling a bit better!

I love that third photo, the way the deer has his head cocked and his ears pricked up, looking at you.
