End of the week Psalm with photos of Hocking Hills and Ireland

O COME,
let us sing to the Lord;
let us make a joyful noise to the Rock of our salvation!

Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving;
Let us make a joyful noise to Him with songs of praise!

For the Lord is a great God,
and a great King above all gods.

In His hand are the deep places of the earth;

the heights and strength of the hills are His also.

(The white 'dot' in the middle left-hand side is a giant statue of Christ.
This was once a private home then it became an abbey/boarding school for girls.)

The sea is His, for He made it;

and His hands formed the dry land.

O come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker,
[in reverent praise and supplication].

For He is our God and we are the people of His pasture
and the sheep of His hand.

Psalm 95: 1 -7

I am recovering from sinus infection and
'caught-early' bronchitis.

I ventured out this morning
for the first time in two days
because George the cat needed more insulin.

Then my husband's noise in the garage
(which is now full of stuff from the Cinci home's attic
with my car parked beside it)
made me nervous.

I investigated and stayed to help take out a small work bench
and put in a much bigger one from his garage in Cinci.

I now will have a bigger area to pot my plants and keep all my supplies.
Yea!

Then we walked up to his aunt's house ( three houses away)
to investigate.

A local builder is coming this week to give us estimates
on:
1. adding an addition to this house
to make it workable for several years

2. adding a two floor addition to his aunt's house
which we can buy extremely cheaply
(this house was his paternal grandparents home;
his aunt is his dad's younger sister
who lived there most of her life,
but now is in a rest home and the home has to be sold)

3. building a house on the acre with his dad's barn and shed
that we own outside of town.
(This is next to his parents' home where his youngest sister lives.)

The first two will make no sense at all to most of my family.
But we like living in town
and
 we especially like being neighbors with the couple next door.

Short of dying, they are not leaving.
They've invested too much in their auto body and upholstery business
across the alley.

The last one will make the most sense to most people,
but
it will add ten minutes each way to my thirty minute drive to school
(if I don't get behind the local high school traffic going through town)
and
well . . . I'm just not sure why.

So that's an update for now.

Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend.

I'm realizing from the comments that it may sound like we're doing all three.  We have to choose ONE.

    ears, nose and throat and chest problems just now. May the Lord's healing hands be upon us all. I pray your plans will be fruitful.

  6. I, too, love the way you've been telling a story with your photos and the psalms. I am comforted by this one. I'm still struggling to come out of this latest attack of illness... hoping you are faring better.

    (and I didn't think you were planning to own three homes ;)
