A rhino sneeze and the scriptures of the week

Can you imagine the sneeze if a rhino could get a head cold?
I think I sneezed enough for a rhino this week!

I just cleared the 8th day since I first got sick.
I had a 5-day virus and while that was see-sawing my life,
a sinus and upper respiratory infection decided to visit.
No sooner had the virus left that a summer cold hit.
Two days of sneezing and eye watering.
A total of 7 days of illness that had nothing to do with my chronic illnesses.
Yikes!
It's odd what a person can get used to and what will upset the apple cart.
A fibro flare-up is a piece of cake compared to this virus.

Finally some normalcy.
Today was the first day that I did more with my flowers
besides douse them with water.
The roses peevishly greeted me with
"It's about time you showed up!
Do you see all these spots on our leaves?"

Some plants were indignant
about the weeds crowding their personal space.
Others were upset about the 'dead heads'
that were spoiling the overall look of the neighborhood.
Ah, it's nice to be needed!

So I worked a little outside and inside, resting in intervals.
We went to friends for dinner and I had my first full meal all week.
It was delicious!

I started out shaky with my knees wobbling some.

Tonight I'm steady.

Scriptures of the Week:
To you who fear My name the Sun of Righteousness shall arise
with healing in His wings.
Malachi 4:2

The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of troubles;
and He knows those who trust in Him.
Nahum 1:7

My God shall supply all your need according to His riches
in glory by Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19

Photos were taken duing our visit with 4 of the grandkids
to a place called "The Wilds" here in southeastern Ohio.

Blessings to you all.
