I have a blogger friend
who has been a special blessing to me.
Last year after I really liked some Ted Koontz
poems she put on her web site,
Nance started sending me postcards
with poems of his on them.
They were wonderful gifts of poetry
and friendship
winging their way
from Oregon
to Ohio.
For more views on gifts,
head over to Francesca's.
This is a great friendship. Congrats for it
ReplyDeleteThe gift of poetry ... one of my favorites. What a special friendship. --Tzivia (I don't know why the post says I'm "anonymous ... oh well!)
ReplyDeleteI seem to have fixed the "anonymous" issue. :)
DeleteAnd the very good friend
ReplyDeleteposted some poems back.. :-)
Words came flying
all the way from Ohio to Oregon.
Landing all together in my hands.
It's a nice way to communicate. Sure these are pretty small gifts.
ReplyDeleteWhat a special blessing, both the postcards and the friendship.
ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful to get snail mail, especially pretty postcards like this!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderfully thoughtful and beautiful thing to do!
ReplyDeleteThe poem, Winter Morning Walks, made me cry. I lost both of my older dogs this year and miss our morning walks. Moving words.
What a lovely friend!
