A lesson from a couple of God's creatures

Loosen up. Relax.
"Peace I leave with you;
My (own) peace I now give and bequeath to you.
Not as the world gives do I give to you.
Do not let your hearts be troubled,
neither let them be afraid.
[Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed;
and do not permit yourselves
to be fearful and intimimidated
and cowardly and unsettled.]
JOHN 14:27

  2. That's what I love about cats. They can be more relaxed than we ever possibly can pull it off. They're also easy to read: When I see a cat in the yard, tense and ready to leap at something, I wonder what's up. Well, yesterday, while looking out my window I saw a neighborhood stray out there [it won't let any of us take it in], tense right by one of my bushes. Leaped, chased and the long garter snake won the race. Darn! I love cats -- I am terrified of snakes. Wish "Smokey" had won that battle -- just for me.
