Several corner views ago, the topic was grass.
I featured the ornamental grass plants
that I was experimenting with this year.
Below are the three plants in June.
Here are those same three plants in now in early September.
The one on the left has only grown slightly,
but the center one and especially the one to the back and right of it
have 'taken off' and are growing by 'leaps and bounds'!

ReplyDeleteA property near me has lots of ornamental grasses growing that I have always admired. A very nice addition to your garden.
ReplyDeleteFlourishing grass at the center :) Nothing like ornamental grasses!
ReplyDeletewhat wonderful grasses, and the middle one has grown incredibly.
ReplyDeleteLovely! If I ever get the left side of my yard cleaned out, I want to plant some decorative grasses. I may need to come to you for advise. (Although, climate-wise, I don't suppose the same would work in both yards.)
ReplyDeleteHow tall your grass is!I wish we had a garden to watch all growth happening. Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteverytime again a garden can surprise me...in the spring there is nearly nothing and than all of the sudden...a whole garden filled!!
ReplyDeletebeautiful growth in your garden.
ReplyDeleteMethinks you have a green thumb Beth - something I am sadly lacking.
ReplyDeletei like the before and after shots.
ReplyDeleteLookin' good, Beth..... Those plants in the middle are taking over the garden... Looks like they think they are IN CHARGE... ha ha
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love watching the garden grow????? Love it.
Hugs,
Betsy
The garden really has taken off!
ReplyDeletegreat! I need more ornamental grass, and fewer grassy weeds :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like they are off to a good start. I tried one new one this summer. We'll see come spring how it winters.
ReplyDeleteby leaps and bounds, true. that's the mystery alright...! i noticed two flowers on green spacey growth just last night. i'd put these bulbs in and sure enough they came out green, spikey leafs, and NO FLOWERING whatsoever. until i notice those flower heads just last night. tall to my waist these have grown! i can talk to my flower and do not even have to bend down! :)))
ReplyDeleten♥
Such a pleasure to see your before and after photos and to see how much your pretty grasses have grown in just the right spot.
ReplyDeleteIt's always so neat to see how our plants grow and grow some more. I have so many that this fall, I'll be dividing them around my yard, especially the perennials. Spread and spread them around.
ReplyDeleteYou do good.
